 Level 2 expands your capabilities to include emotional/mental healing and distance healing, with the use of Reiki symbols.

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and fosters healing. It is based on the principle that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed; if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The Reiki energy, associated with the element of earth, is of a lower (denser) range of vibration, working mostly on the etheric level (and therefore on the physical level to re-balance the body). This also means that it is easier to feel in your hands.
